After Romania, Allvelo opened Italy, its first market abroad. An own store in Italian, launched on February 26, 2026, with the same Meta and Google campaigns as in Romania.
Italy is a blank market for the brand: nobody knows it and the competition is much stronger, since Italy is one of Europe's pastry capitals. And the Italian buyer doesn't buy like the Romanian one.
A store built for the Italian buyer, not a translation, with a clear catalogue and the same small campaigns as in Romania (catalogue and retargeting on Meta, Google and two emails a month). And keeping open the channels Italians prefer: WhatsApp, Instagram and phone.
- 01Online store with catalogue, product pages and a review system
- 02Payments with PayPal and Stripe
- 03Admin panel: products, customers, statistics, invoicing and shipping
- 04Visual identity (logomark, wordmark, submark) and catalogue design and translation (print and PDF)
- 05Meta Pixel and monthly Google Ads, Meta Ads and email marketing campaigns
- 06Email automations: welcome, thank-you, order status and feedback
- 07Direct sales via WhatsApp and Instagram, plus after-sales management
From February 26 to September 21, 6,850 € in sales, ahead of what Romania did in its first 6 months (about 4,500 €). The buying path is different: the client sees the ad, visits the site and the catalogue, then writes or calls. They get samples, test them and then place a firm order. That's why the store's average order (76.36 €) undersells it: there are direct orders of 250, 300 and 700 € that never go through the cart.
In a new market, the online store is mostly the shop window that builds trust. Italians want to talk to someone and touch the product before buying, so we measure the store by the conversations and sample requests it creates too, not just the cart.
